Rep. Salmon Honors East Valley Veterans in Gilbert Office, Commemorates Veterans' Day

Washington—Today, Rep. Matt Salmon (AZ-05) released the following statement in honor of Veterans' Day:

"This Veterans’ Day, we remember and honor our brave veterans who sacrificed so much for our nation throughout the centuries. As the son of a World War II veteran, I am humbled by their selfless acts of bravery and unwavering patriotism. It is an honor to represent so many veterans in the Fifth Congressional District and I am inspired by so many of their stories. They have fought hard to preserve our nation and freedoms, and I am grateful for their service."

Congressman Salmon hosted an open house for all of Arizona's Fifth Congressional District veterans. He thanked the over 150 veterans that attended the event in his downtown Gilbert office.


Rep. Matt Salmon (AZ-05) serves on the House Committee on Foreign Affairs as Chairman of the Subcommittee on the Western Hemisphere. He is also a member of the House Committee on Education and the Workforce.
