Chairman Salmon Comments on Death of Taiwanese Pilot in Bagdad, Arizona
Washington, D.C. — Rep. Matt Salmon (AZ-05), chairman of the Subcommittee on Asia and the Pacific, today released the following statement after a Taiwanese pilot was killed during a training mission in Arizona.
"I offer my heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of the Taiwanese pilot who lost his life in yesterday’s F-16 crash. Our nation will keep them, and the nation of Taiwan, in our hearts during this difficult time.”
Rep. Matt Salmon (AZ-05) serves on the House Committee on Foreign Affairs as Chairman of the Subcommittee on Asia and the Pacific. He is also a member of the House Committee on Education and the Workforce.
